Hello, I am Browie, a sweet boy of 9 years old who is very people-oriented and has the cutest fluffy tail.
I was found wandering on a beach near the airport in Larnaca together with another doggy friend.
We were brought to the shelter, but because I didn’t have a microchip, nobody knows where I came from. Based on my behaviour, my rescuers assume that I used to have a family and was probably abandoned.
I don’t only love people, but I also get along well with other dogs. I’m even okay with cats.
I’m not a young puppy anymore, but there is still plenty of live left in me. My wish list for my forever home is pretty straightforward: a soft bed and/or sofa, yummy food and treats and of course loving human friends with whom I can spend lots of quality time and do all kinds of fun activities, including walks and a lot of cuddle time.

1. How does your adoption process work? Choose your dog https://woofproject.eu/ / https://www.facebook.com/woofproject.eu/ Then complete our online application form:  https://forms.gle/j8WFiJRw4aMCmW3K8 . If your application is successful, we will arrange a home check within a week.
2. Do we take money for the work we do? No, not at all. We are a small 100% volunteer non-profit initiative. The full adoption amount goes to proper & complete vet/health procedures, and includes: all vaccinations incl Rabies, Blood tests, which include tests for exposure to pathogens that cause Heartworm disease, Ehrlichiosis, Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis; Leishmania IFAT test, sterilisation, deworming, tick&flea treatments, as well as EU passport and microchip.
3. What is the adoption cost? €220 for adult neutered dogs and €125 for unneutered pups (younger than 8 months). This amount is used in full for the necessary veterinary health procedures. It excludes the flight costs.
4. Where are the dogs from? Mostly Cyprus, due to the terrible conditions and the overwhelming amount of street dogs there, we are rescuing dogs from the streets and kill shelters. Most of our dogs are in foster care in Cyprus or from shelters from rescue partners.
5. How does the dog travel to Belgium? There are direct flights from Cyprus to Liege/Zaventem, 4 hours.
